　　On March 9, the 2019 Chinese New Year Annual Meeting of CEIBS Alumni, Wuxi[u1], with the theme of “Being Relentless and Virtuous, Pursuing Excellence”, was held in Wuxi. Jiang Xipei, founder, Chairman of the Board and Secretary of Party Committee of Far East Holding Group, also attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Zhu Mingjia, an investor and General Manager of Far East Cable Wuxi New District Franchise Co., Ltd[u2]. and Shen Ting, an investor and marketing manager also attended the meeting.

　　In his speech, Jiang Xipei expressed that the entrepreneurs should be open-minded in macro-perspective but be meticulous and detail-oriented in micro-perspective. In the past year or so, Jiang Xipei attended seven symposiums organized by the General Office of the State Council, Jiangsu Provincial Tax Service, State Taxation Administration, All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, China Enterprise Confederation / China Enterprise Directors Association, and the People’s Bank of China. The suggestions and opinions he proposed had received responses from the General Secretary and the Premier respectively and the relevant laws, regulations and policies on many of the issues he reflected had been gradually adjusted. The Party Central Committee and the State Council had always been caring about the common people and our country, they were willing to listen to the voice of the common people and know about the thinking and feelings of grass-roots entrepreneurs. Over the past 40 years of reform and opening-up, the Chinese nation had achieved a significant and encouraging transformation: it had stood up and grown rich. The next 30 years would be full of the biggest changes. China would definitely return to the center of the world stage.

　　Jiang Xipei delivers a speech

　　In the face of new problems in the future, Jiang Xipei believed that we should be issue-oriented, goal-oriented and result-oriented. China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) evoked the awareness of groups of business elites, government officials and social talents to make positive contribution to the society. It was especially important to keep learning. Jiang Xipei has been learning since 2006 when he attended the first CEO class of Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business. Afterwards, he studied in CEIBS, The Ph.D. in Finance Program of Tsinghua University PBC School of Finance, Zhiliangzhi Courtyard, China New Entrepreneur Development Program, and Global Leadership Development Program successively. Moreover, his original intention was to set up a learning-oriented enterprise.

　　In the current environment, Jiang Xipei believed that we should have a proper and precise understanding of “the four dividends”. The first is to seize institutional dividend. Many of the laws and regulations issued nowadays are of systematicness and perspectiveness, which can stimulate vitality and productivity. But, how can we release institutional dividend? It is necessary for us to learn from the institutions of developed countries around the world. We should be confident about our system, route, especially, our culture. We should also have confidence in the Reform and Opening-up policy. It’s good to see that we are becoming more and more confident. In the next five years to ten years, even 30 years, our country will be more and more international. For the essence of the market economy is competition and private economy. It is predictable that in the future, China’s institutional dividend will be better than that of the rest of the world. Although other countries have many other advantages, no country can surpass China in terms of systematicness, globality and permanent.

　　The second is to gain the dividend of confidence. Do you have confidence in the future no matter what happens in the outside world? He who is full of confidence in the future and perseveres in his efforts will surely have a bright future; he who is full of worry, he who is confused and scared, or even gives up easily, will surely come to no good.

　　The third is to create brand dividend. There are still tens of millions of companies in most industries, and that situation won’t last long. As we all know, the Central Government supports the development of private enterprises, especially small and micro enterprises. But what we should know is that the ones it wants to support are those with competitive advantages and full confidence. Industry production becomes more and more centralized. To become a global competitive enterprise, we must use good products and services to help customers and society solve substantive problems. Both the hard power and the soft power should be enhanced to make the quality brand of the enterprise globally competitive. Thus, the enterprise will gain the brand dividend and quality dividend.

　　Finally, we should grasp the talent dividend. He who owns talents owns the future. Ten years ago, Far East proposed to “find” talents worldwide, instead of “recruiting” talents. The world’s best talents are not “recruited”, but “found” by enterprises, thus establishing a heart-to-heart relationship with them. We need to have the awareness and institutional arrangements of our business partners. Meanwhile, we need to build the culture and environment for a community of shared missions and shared future. Only by combining the community of shared interests, the community of shared missions and the community of shared destiny, can we attract more ambitious and patriotic talents who are willing to serve the society and the country.

　　Jiang Xipei also shared the spirit of Wuxi merchants with Rui Meng, Professor of finance and accounting and Director of wealth and management center of CEIBS, Dong Dong, Vice President and General Manager of Fasten Group, and Wu Hongqing, Chairman of Jiangyin HONGMENG Rubber Plastic Product Co.
