Based on the increasingly higher demands for safety, energy-saving and environmental protection in the construction industry, Far East Cable, ECADI, and TICW have co-edited the Group Standards for the Architectural Society of China, which has been successfully released.
The new B1 flame-retardant and environment-friendly hoisting cable for super high-rise buildings developed by the Far East is used as the main power supply of super high-rise buildings. It supplies power to the substations among floors in the buildings, which can replace traditional steel-wire armoured power cables by effective loss reduction and higher current-carrying capacity. It can also withstand greater tension, ensuring its long-term, safe and stable operation. The hoisting cable can be laid without a bridge frame or the need for later maintenance, which can greatly reduce the occupied area of ??the cable shaft and save the overall cost of super high-rise buildings.

The Far East hoisting cable family has obtained three national invention patents. It has passed the test from an authoritative third-party institution, and have conformed to the Q/320282 DCE057-2017 “Hanging Cables and Spreaders for Super High-rise buildings” and the GB31247-2014 “Grading of Combustion Performance of Normal and Fiber Cables” requirements. It not only has excellent electrical and mechanical properties, but also has outstanding safety and environmental protection features such as low heat release, low smoke production, and low toxicity. One of the products has been successfully applied to super high-rise buildings such as the China Zun in Beijing, with a safe and stable operation till now.
On June 21, 2020, Industry and Information Technology Department of Jiangsu organized an appraising meeting for Far East’s new product - "the New B1 Flame-retardant and Environment-friendly Hoisting Cable for Super High-rise Buildings (DZ-WDZAB1-YJY-6/10kV)". The appraisal committee listened to the technical report, the trial report, etc., reviewed the novelty search report, test report, etc., and inspected the production site, confirming that the product is generally at the leading domestic trend and giving a pass to its appraisal.
